Iron Hands
The hands of Motilal Dar once forged the pipes of Sten Guns and Lee–Enfield rifles for the Mukti Bahini during the liberation. According to Motilal his ancestor Dar Ando Joy Dey was one of the blacksmith who forged the Bibi Mariam Cannon from the 17th century. Motilal continues the family traditions in the present time as a blacksmith forging agricultural implements and cooking utensils.

This was a creative challenge for me to capture the flag of Bangladesh in absolute nature encapsulating the depth and meaning behind the colours of the flag.
